Canberra

The Canberra event brings a strong focus on how public agencies are using Open Source to deliver wider services to the community at much greater value.

International guests from Open Source BI leader Jedox, will deliver insights from experiences in European Government as well as real world examples of how Open Source BI in is opening up within Australian Industry.

With initiatives like Gov 2.0, the Australian government is strongly adopting open data and access policies. Throughout the world, governments are recognising the power of data access to improve services and engagement, and the democratic imperative of transparency in government.

At the same time, BI tops the priorities of CIO’s globally. Why? Because they are faced with a parallel challenge: providing meaningful information to their own stakeholders and constituencies in a timely and seamless manner.

The Canberra briefing provides a unique intersection of these major trends: Democratising information access through Open Source BI.
